Yes, very similar. Except for maybe using a version of the Coral MA indicator. Like trading the M30 chart, waiting for the next break low, and paying particular attention to the quarter levels between whole numbers.

one thing you can do now is to cut all losing positions.
then do post mortem and learn what you did wrong.
don't top up account until you have the answers.

It's quite simple really.

I have a bad tendency to stay with a trade when I should get out. Until I learn to follow that one simple rule, I will be destined to repeat my mistake over and over and over (until the account is gone).

Tah, if there is a short signal below the dragon on the m15 during the LO and before the TP is reached during the New York Open, the price starts to turn and ends up above the dragon, in this case, are we gonna close the previous short position and open a long position?

The following chart is a perfect example of EU today. I entered a short position on LO, and before price reaches TP, my SL was taken out during the NY session. I think my TP and SL is at perfect position. What would you do if this is the case? Would you close on the short position and take a buy position during the NY open when the price makes a higher high above the dragon?

TAH, I know you've been beating your chest and talking about how brokers will hunt stops during periods of low liquidity. I agree with you. I am an American trader and I use a live acct with MB Trading and a demo with FXCM for different charting templates, both MT4. I will often see 'bad' ticks, with FXCM that looks just like a low level stop run. Same charts, same tf, same pairs, pa just quickly moves, then returns.

Immvp, really and for sure, that is how this trading should be done. If you sense PA is going against your trade (short), no need to let it run to hit your SL. Just cut it. Then wait for possible opposite trade (long) setup, and enter that. If trade does not setup long, but reverses again to continue short, then do a "re-entry" on the short setup.

You are asking me how I'd do it. No need to. I already posted my EU trade. I went short, gave it a wide SL, and I am still in it. The longer TF (Day) trend is short. But, today would have been better for me if I had traded just as you have suggested. That is the ideal way, if you can pull it off with quick reflexes and no bias to inhibit you.

Grins, thank you for your post. You have joined the ranks of worldfreedom and Dtown as acknowledgers that "there are rats in the wood pile".

I read recently that FXCM is a well capitalized broker in the US forex market, though likely still small compared to the better known names of our major "Thieves of Wall Street". Money is there for the broker's liquidity creation drives to be notable on the charts. And a client base is there for fleecing. So the potential for abuse is there. Such a situation just begs to be taken advantage of, imho, by any broker cut from the same cloth as all the other "Thieves of Wall Street".
