You have to be quick on your feet though. If the support is identified correctly, you will get at least a bounce. That's almost a given.. That will give you "enough" time to get out with one or two pips if it turns back. On that trade, I'm already out with 10 pips for example..

It's how I scalp, there's no other way... And I mostly scalp.. If I get a runner, i'll gladly take it..

They are possible, I don't think there is a reason to argue. One of the latest examples....

Went short because I saw the 11 pip green candle and because bernanke. Took profit as soon as price hit 50 EMA. Price took the second quadrant. 6 pips!

There are a few though, Bob Volman is one of them "Forex Price Action Scalping".

His SL is about 6 to 7 pips with a set target profit of 10 pips, trade the 70 tick equivalent of the 30 seconds TF.

Yeah that was a 5m bull flag into 2378 range breakout, good long there.
Be hopeful in a winning position, and fearful in a losing position.

One has to identify themselves as a trader.. I was watching a video and the guy there said something very interesting.. There a two types of traders.. innies and outies.. Innies are the ones that absolutely have to be in a trade at all times, outies are the ones that have to be "dragged" in a trade. Nothing wrong with either one of them, you just have to know which one you are and plan accordingly. I'm an innie I guess, so scalping fits me better so I had to focus on figuring out s/r down as precisely as possible. Others are outies, so their focus are the trends, swings, MM, how large of a SL they use etc.. Different styles, but just don't mix them, I think that's the secret...

no, chart patterns will not help you there, not when scalping. Pure PA at s/r is all that is to it.

I don't think there will be any significant down without 2461..2450 is in the way though. So I'll watch that first when we get there.

Saw the same video. I also saw one where a guy talks about the ease of trading - he likened it to playing an instrument: good trading should be effortless, just like a well-trained musician plays with ease. If you're struggling, that means you're doing something wrong. This helped me a lot. On days when I feel like I'm frowning, scratching my head and not really finding my direction for the day, I leave it and come back the next day.
