Swissy (FXSwissTrader) considers scalping 50-100 pips.

IMO that's a swing trade, but we all have our own definitions I guess

you are new to FF and you come here saying you trade with a tiny SL - and on top of that those trades are fades......

now experienced traders know that even if you hit some overall your account will be crucified.

I trade for a living I have been there, seen it and done it..... my trades are very accurate, but I can't and I don't know anybody that does use such a small SL and makes money....

there are many blaggers come on here, and the conspiricy theorists will also tell you that brokers setup accounts on here to encourage people to do daft things.......

so as an experienced trader I will call you out on it because even if you can do it - it can't be done over and over without getting burned and that's not a good thing to promote......

such a boring day, this thing doesnt want to move.
i hate trading these past few months. No trends, nothing. Just strange moves when Bernanke farts or Mario wears a blue tie.

Totally agree with you, with the only exception of GatorInLa, he's highly successful and very often hits it right to the pip.

Agree Gatroinla, is possibly one of the most level headed trader on this forum. No BS..straight up trading with reasons.

I haven't read too much into circle trading, and have done more of it through trial-and-error, but I am noticing a few things about them.

Some circles, I notice, only take up a quadrant. Others take up two. Maybe price will take two here. (Bernanke speaks around the time price should complete the second quadrant.)

point taken. i wasn't advocating anything, just simply posting my trades and then people questioned them.

i do position trade as well... i wouldn't limit myself to only scalping

i agree you get burned alot, but the times you don't get burned it is worth it (all that matters is that you are winning more pips than losing on these trades, preferably twice as much on winners, if not, dont use this strategy)

i also have a 5 (5.7) pip stop scalp as well, which gets hit a lot less. it's not always 2 pips from entry.

no offense taken or anything, i just dont like the aggressive attitude people took over that. people seem to love to tell other peple how to trade. i never told anyone here they should try the trades I try.

But if you have any experience in the market you know there are indicators that do often bounce from the pip exactly, because everyone is using it. If the RR is there for me, I will try the trade.

for me it was extreme rsi, bearish divergence, 1m bollinger band, and near 1.24 handle, take profits were the MAs

My read is he will not drop a hint today about any situation other than a possible regurgitation of the things look bleak in world economy, we will slow a little, we are keeping an eye.

The fallout IMO should lead us down, the way the news has been playing out past few days we should see the better RR side move. Which I think would be bears who entered possibly at 2420 levels with the TL resistance level on Weekly @ 1.2455 as a stop.

The general risk in EUR/USD is high past few days without significant pay-off would rather play around with other pairs for now.

Oh, you can. My SL is the spread when I scalp, so it is possible.. I said I'm not posting here, but couldn't resist. This is a subject close to my heart. Pip perfect entries ARE possible.

worth risking 5 pips to make 15 isn't it? Or potentially a lot more if this goes to retest 1.2440.
