I trade shorter TF's so I don't pay too much attention to H+S ... and maybe that's why I'm confused. I just reviewed several textbook explanations of H+S patterns and now I really am confused

I'm probably making some dumb assumption, but it looks to me like this chart:

predicts a huge (>300 pips) move North based on the projected target by the book. True, the entry, by the book would have been on break of the neckline... but you've got 300 pips on the hook - you're gonna throw it back because you missed the entry!!!???

Obviously, I'm missing something here...

PS: I know this chart shows neckline break still to come, but I
assume your neckline was drawn slightly lower.

300bps today, after 250 friday?
market doesnt move because of an indicator. It needs some real fuel to move up or down. There wont be any QE stuff today.

buying on secondary market doesnt make much difference...

sure, that's if the neckline breaks.

the entry by the book would be the last entry point in my book.

when did i say i missed the entry?
there were 5-6 good long setups from the bottom, if i recall correctly.

Every money coming from a Central bank in cash is creation. It increases the balance sheet.
The assets bought by Fed now, is assets that were hold by someone before and were mobilizing cash to this specific purpose.
If u free that cash from its original purpose and the financial assets are held somewhere, u have extra cash in the economy.
The rest is semantics

Example:
pure creation = financing budget deficit = buying 100 of gov bonds = +100 on balance sheet of FED = +100 in economy
QE = buying on secondary markets for 100 = +100 FREED from these bonds but NOT created AND + 100 on the balance sheet of FED = +100 in economy

This is what I see and my opinion only. I think this a bull flag, or at least it resembles one. I got in at 1.23970 and looking to get out at the previous hourly high of 1.24035.

In the context of H+S comments w/Killer you wrote:

I guess you need money to create additional demand. If it's done by the Fed, this is creating money.
But it will disappear instantly on the day the Fed sells back its assets.

Could you be a little more specific? What does "from the right shoulder" mean?

Is that where you think entries should be? ...kind of a smelly explanation .

Weird entry and reward target. U could scalp on trend line min 5 1.2384 stoch low.

my initial trades were at the bottom (had couple losses before the bottom.)

refer to the text book about the right shoulder.
