a lot of new traders as what i c - there r some things i would love to do over and over again if only i could - but learning how to trade: nah! It was the most unpleasant thing i ever went through - becoming a doctor is ten times easier - not trying to scare u - just saying: it's the most hardest easy money one can get...gl!

some of the kama sutra positions are even more difficult than trading.................. don't try to do them over and over again............ once is enough.

So that's why I'm bearish for Sunday/Monday, I have a short over the weekend @ 1.2388. Sl should be 1.2420 but actually forgot to put that in, not realizing that Oanda recently closes for the weekend.

First target 1.2295, second target 1.2220

it depends - if u trade swings: maybe moar than u r able to afford - but trade, put in ur own money and learn - one day u mite master even the whaleguy^^

My friend, trading is not that difficult, there is just Up and Down, easier than roulette, because there you have the added 1 or 2 zeros.
And if you add a little bit of common sense, you come a long way.
Oh and some guts is also very helpful.

Read a lot of posts wondering why the EUR/USD pair went up. Well.... I don't know either. However, if I were to guess.... well.... Before Draghi spoke on Thursday they were saying that the stocks in Europe were at historical lows and that it would be a good time to buy low in anticipation of what they thought Draghi would say to boost it all up. Well, as we all know it went up really fast and then went down even lower. So, I can only assume that people could now by stocks for even lower than when Draghi spoke. Then it will go high, people will sell for profit and then everything will go down again for it to cycle again. So, I think the stock market plump and dump effects the currency markets as well.

Luck has no place in trading. Leave that for the poker table.

I've got a suspicion that this is a bull trap...

First, the massive bearish pin bar from thursday suggests its heading much lower in line with overall trend.

Second the 50% retracement is going to be tough to crack.

Third, there was no real substantial fundamentals to back this move up, a move which just seemed to grind gradually rather than with conviction.

I think it may break the trend partially for a few days but then there will be a flood of big selling when the big players realise there is no great reward to be had going long, thus 'trapping' the bulls playing a big reversal. Also, to follow through will require the dollar index to break its ascending channel support....cheers.
