Price is standing against 3/8 MM line - which is barely 100 points from the 0.00 fib drawn from 2nd aug 13:00 to 2nd aug 16:00. Might it be at the top of this bounce?

Quite possible, but I wouldn't be jumping into anything fresh right now. I'm gonna just keep what I have, wait for Sunday night and then look to short it with my giant hammer.

As we have Friday evening now, many traders left their money waiting until Monday morning (London and NY)
Guys, if you have a chance to see all US and EU indexes on your platform (SP500, NASDAQ etc) on daily chart, you will see on each one of them a strong bullish candle created.
I don't think such a strong signal should be ignored and could be stopped just like that without any reason.
I think we'll see (after a pullback) a continuation of this movement on Monday until we reach some significant levels.
So if there are any bears around, take a nap and wait probably until Tuesday to take any action.

(hopefully without any breaking EU-NEWS this weekend)

This is NOT a complaint however it is a comment.

I am a professional currency trader. I do no commercial business on Forex Factory.

Fundamentals are good. Technicals are good. Understanding US and Europe Bond Yields is good.

Having a good Trade plan is good. Using a good Risk management program is good.

Having control of your fears, greed and EGO is good.

HOWEVER without some EDGE it might not be so good.

Your EDGE if you want it is MONEY FLOW !!!

Anyone interested to learn just post your questions.

If your method and style of trading can let you make a return of 5% a month for 12 months in a row you will be very wealthy in five years or less.

I read the posts since my post this morning and what has happened is all governed by the MONEY FLOW which you can SEE with your own eyes.

It is that simple.
No I have NO CHARTS to produce.

Knowledge, Experience and Common Sense helps.

We're already very close to key resistance levels on all the instruments you mentioned.

Just like I would take profits on an overshoot downwards, I would likewise look to fade an overshoot upwards.

We may hit those key levels today, or perhaps in the Asian session on Sunday night. After that, it's hammer time (as long as the underlying fundamentals don't change).

CNBC TV is squawking off about how the ECB has made a major policy change and this is the catalyst that will turn the market around. IMO this is all BS. Nothing has changed in Europe. Italy and Spain are still in the s**tter and the EZ economy is still going down. Moreover, the US jobs situation, although limping along, does not inspire investors to jump in any time soon. Plain and simple, this is a trader's market, and in a trader's market, what goes up, comes right back down.

I explained earlier about why we are seeing such a reversal on the Euro and it has nothing to do with economics. This is a fear bid. Nothing else. The fear is that anyone short the bond market will get caught out by any official intervention. Once the short dated Spanish and Italian bonds are marked to market (without the speculative vulture short), the Euro will continue on it's way to its ultimate destination.

It's so easy to get psych'd out by these hyped and volatile moves. That's how the big boys take all the retail traders' money... Psych psych psych.!!!

I am not recommending that traders sell the Euro (Yet). I'm just saying that this is a short covering bull trap and will be faded just as quickly as it shot up.

Yes, money flows are important but how do we know that money is flowing from forex to equities or forex to bonds, at day end we can say looking at the moves that money flew from forex to equities but thats not important, important is to understand the factor which can cause money flow for a particular day or week

Is this market a complete joke???

All profits gone from yesterday and now some minor losses. Should have set trailing stops.

A miss even that big should not cause that much euro strength.

Absolutely insane.

Never again will I try to position trade.

Scalping for me only.

Risking 2-3 pips to make 10 or 7-10 pips to make 15-25 is true risk reward without any of this BS going on. And this is BS no doubt about it.

Sorry PT, I tried. It's just not my style (sell and hold) My gut was screaming cover at 1.2170, the charts were not however.

Loss of about 70 pips in the last two days and thats including yesterdays 200+ floating.

Horrible way to end my vacation Oh well. Back to 50-100 pips a day in 5-10 pip increments when I get home
Be hopeful in a winning position, and fearful in a losing position.

I have life experience, energy, knowledge, good health and a PMA and my goals in front of me. I love life, people, good food, a nice car and young ladies over 25. Those below are fun however BIG TROUBLE.
