hey guys.... and girls..was checking the calendar for tomorrow... today for some...and I noticed a boat load of red flags...mostly GBP and EUR... if there are rate drops in either... is that good for AUD?....please any help would be much appreciated....

Rate drops would definitely be positive for AUD against USD or JPY or CHF... probably only mildly though. It would be a moderately expected surprise I think.

Essentially it would be a "risk on" move... meaning cash flowing primarly FROM JPY and USD to all other currencies.

From fundamentalist and Price Action behaviour , Friday US Timing Non Farm Payroll will then be the ultimate show for major reversal .

I got stopped out previously at the AUD/USD 0.9580 (02 Jun 2012) because of the NFP, be careful

Markets expecting a 82.5% probability of a 25bps rate cut by the ECB tomorrow, according to Credit Suisse data.

It could be true, from my experience in my exchange previously, news are meant to set up the GAME STAGE before the BIG Action.

This means AUD will go up and break beyond and reach 1.0678 or to 1.07XX

What's up leticus...I tell ya I've defiantly have seen 1.06 to 1.07 in a lot of discussions all over the net for a while now...I was just wondering what was going to take it there...

If we look at a bigger trend perspective (months ), this ceiling of 1.05XX has been here quite a while. The original pricing of AUD is 1.0831 (1st March 2012), something must go back as a retracement especially AUD dollar is now still seems as the more favorable currency and based on energy markets analysis i got from my colleagues at the exchange, they said the world is now very dependable on commodities.

If we talk about Price Action behaviour before NFP, yes i got stopped out once , so i know what is the REAL PURPOSE of a NFP is to give a "reason" to do something big.

So my wide guess is this friday NFP, go beyond till 1.06XX and next week till 1.07XX

I wouldn't give it that hIgh of a probability and I don't think it's priced into the market yet. Which means the market doesnt expect it or the ECB and US NFP is of far greater concern than any rate cuts. Either way, a rate cut should be good for the "risk on" currencies (probably for a few pips)

LOL...brother as long as there's the big money that's involved with Forex...nothing and I mean nothing would shock me...imagine what it would be like if you had the capability to move a market...The media is a powerful medium if not the most powerful...
