Seems thread has become psychoanalysis. I trade on TA and FA and I post and no one asks a question.......so either I am a dumbass, or I have nothing to contribute. In either case, I guess it's PEACE and I'm out! Good trading to all my friends here, and better trading to those that aren't my friend....... yet!

Very easy for posts to get missed. I don't read half of them because I'm not at the computer and if there is pages of new posts when I get back, I don't usually look back to the posts I missed.

Intraday/Intraweek analysis doesn't mean it's not still EurAnalysis

Sorry I missed your last post, but don't leave! Also, most posts don't get responses so don't be offended if they don't. The majority of mine do not yet I post anyway.


For example..

Here's my intraday prediction: Move to 1.2180/70 then short covering into rate decision and unemployment numbers. Then more selling after no increase in rates

This would be my preferred scenario given that the retrace is already in motion. I might pull the order at 2216 but it depends on bearish momentum. If it is reached first with low momentum, I'll still give it a shot.

Neither order hit thus far... This has been the story of my life for the past month, but it's the price paid for trying to get in with a tiny S/L.

I've got a pending sell at 1.2308 hopefully around the ECB announcement/US open. Would really like this pending long to get hit first though and let London be bulls for today.

Stopped out for -1 (1.7 really) so trying again. Short from 48

edit: moved my stop just above that bollinger band, lucky me because it tested it.

This has been happening to me a lot too. But at least that wasn't a take profit. Or was it a cover so it essentially was a take profit of your short?

I see upside limited to 2260/70

This might even be it, and I'm willing to bet 3 pips on it for a high leverage. Also adding a lower leverage short here (2248) that is a hold.

This is my way of trying to get in at the top. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. But I keep my losses small and when I do finally get it, its a good winner and sometimes huge winner, usually 30-100 pips.

I sell spikes into resistance areas (MAs, bollingers bands, fibs) with tight stops. Especially when RSI is high.

I'll continue selling resistance areas with tight stops into 60s 70s and definitely 2280

nice idea, many small losses aiming for a big fish swing down to solve it all?

in the shorter term its possible but in longer run u going to burn out doing that.i understand u can rationalise with lot of reasons but thats my experience. this kind of trading is alright if ur aim is to understand market structure and pattern but not for making serious money and holding it,anyway good luck with ur trading.

ur charts are great,save me lot of time as i just dont see anything,save lot of time but if it make sense to u thats great and thats what important.

Fresh order (well waiting since the end of last week so not that fresh ). It's frustrating but definitely better than the market blowing right past without stopping, because it at least signals you are in the right area.

Trigger number on the EU right now the 2231. Im short if we hit it. Stops are behind the 2275

Will see how price reacts at 2219/2200 and 2165 to the downside

To the upside the 2274/2302/2324 are the majors

GM - yesterdays Ben induced fall halted at the 50% retrace on my hourly chart.

Now as we wait for Signore Daghi's report later this afternoon - Europe-wise - I'm looking to sell again in the grey zone ~ 38% to 61% retrace, or what I termed in my olde Naked thread.....The Decision Zone, where the market either decides to continue its fall OR turn back up......now that will make PT spill his coffee
