The thing about that short is that the technical aspects were all lined up and the PA was hinting at dropping......then the UK news came in worse than expected which is definitely going to drop the pa. It just a case of being ready to act, and acting immediately because the whole drop is news driven....but the technical were already expecting that. At the end of the day though, the move IS counter to the trend, so you have to decide whether the risk is worth it or not. For me, the risk was about 15 pips, so it was worth it.Ignored

but do you use a fixed lot size regardless of your stop loss size?
