Hi I happened to have the near-mid term view same as yours in that I believe a further upswing in prices could be due.

Evidently the recent high of 1.2389 was a five part wave so it indicate a likely 5-3-5 if this is to be a corrective wave ( and not impulse beginning). So my thoughts are as yours a breach of 1.2389 is on my cards.

The big dollar question is ,if this is a simple5-3-5 have we concluded the 3 part subwave or in the midst of it. My personal view is the 3 part subwave b is concluded.

I'm pretty new to ew and glad to find a thread like this where seasoned trader share their views and knowledge . Am subscribing.

short till 1.2220-10 and than @ 1.2210-00 long. according to my inverse head and shoulder formation. long target will be 1.269x

Hi Olu, until now it is playing as you think, but you need to have more alternatives in case something different happen.

I hear you Luis. I do have alternatives I only talked about the most probable to me. For example a break above the high would have me in long looking for 1.2600 area. What really narrowed me down to this one was the unmistakable 5 wave up from the lows...

If we break the high we go above 1.25 for sure. But really to me it will be a surprise, I looking now, US30, SPX500 and oil cycle ending and something big comes tomorrow I will check the calendar to know what is going on

Bernanke speaks. If he does not say QE3 then the us$ is king and commodities and euro and stock markets are toast.

Hi Snow, I dont now if that is a good bat pattern, but could be also a big H&S and we are in the right one, but is too big I think!
