Screw this volatility. I dont know who is selling and who is buying these dips. If my stop is taken out then I am done trying to go bearish for today and will wait for the monetary policy and unemployement numbers

1hr close above 2287 but my goodness those candles look bearish

edit: 2279 is tough to get through as it was the open price for the last 4hr candle

Consumer confidence 65.9 overshooting estimate of 61.8. Watch equity markets and dollar index. It'll probably be risk on when NY equity market opens into NY close.

Good PMI and consumer confidence and a rallying Euro...makes sense...

Im done can't trade markets like this successfully unless scalping

Technicals and PA are also pointing down. Definitely can't trade when theres stealth intervention going on (plunge protection team..haha who knows whats going on)

Yes there is maybe to 106 area. But the risk reward on the longside isn't there AT THIS MOMENT (for me anyway). We are overbought and have a daily bearish divergence (on CCI not RSI though which worries me a bit, I think RSI divergences are much stronger) and multiple 4hr.

For the past 2 months this pairs is bullish with three correction of +/- 250 pips each. 21 RSI indicating divergence on D1 between > 50 and < 70 . With proper MM u will be saved. GL and many green pips.

ADD : 21 RSI - D = 63 , H4 = 66

You are probably right

I can see them taking out the stops at 2330

Hoping this holds... I expect at least a retest of 1.0440 sometime soon..

US data was nothing but a good way to fake out shorts.

Always a bearish day for the dollar before FOMC.

Should have known. E/U 2287 short stopped out at 2304

Got some sell llimits 2328 and 2382 and big one at 2435

Market is anticipating the +ve announcement on the 2 Aug 12 (8.30) during ECB press conference and US-IJC and 3 Aug 12 (Fri) - US-NFP. It will be a volatile days. As we can see some has been priced in ahead of 2 Aug 12.

I had closed my two shorts yesterday and today with few green pips. Wait for another good opportunity to short at higher price. GL to all.

2328 triggered, 4hr bollinger band at 2340 and 88 fib of June retracement at 2343

So many bearish divergences yet still this thing goes up.

No , I'm not talking about cutting the interest rate. What I meant was the way he answered to the questions posted by the Congress. The words that he used such as .... 'incentivizing the banks', 'discount window' and other banking and economics jargons.


ADD : All this while he's only protecting the interest of the 'FAT' and banking communities.
