To answer pjotter's question. There is a chart EURUSD 1971-2012, monthly. Interesting part is rebounding from 200 MA (bold green).

In 1997 (sharp) and 1999 (mild and temporary) and now in 2010 (sharp) and 2012 (? - mild and temporary?).

We do observe that often too ...

Overall the super major trend is still up ...

Channels that you use are linear regression type as it seems ...

But that doesn't help a spot forex trader who wants to make is cash in a few hours every day ...

Where is the pre 1/1/1999 data for the euro made up from on these retail charts, before the Eur for accounting purposes there was the ECU ( European Currency Unit) but that was only since 1979. Is it calculated based on the weighting of the previous european currencies? Still to me, EURUSD historic prices from 1971 has to be rubbish.

That is right ... 1979 is the more correct way in order to show this ...

nice flow chart 2 things according to the flow 2259 doesnt invalidate higher targets and the top left green bubble is the wrong number. I agree with the flow though. what do u think about cable and au? Cable at interesting point. Is price building in a rate cut so selloff when thurs comes? Usually moves before
big news are erased as they let sm get
in at a good price.

I have posted simple daily, you 4hr here is 1hr

The daily channel has a 250pip range 1hr 62pip range,
daily 35pip ish to utl 1hr 55pip ish to utl, however I have a rising tl on the hourly which has converged with 0486, which was the upper level of the previous daily range,
bro, yes I agree capping could be around 1 0500 which is also mini psyhc and I feel she is already at a level 0486 to start building into it, of course this will all depend on mondays open, I used to follow anyweekend movement...

You're right. It's not the top one, the other 2354 should be removed.. 2259 does invalidate higher (at least for me right now, a move below it that is..) because it's cascading into lower targets below there.. I only follow e/u so I don't know cable or au..

Edit: remove the top 2354.. OK. I think that's it..

What I'm trying to do with this is organize my thoughts before a trading day.. TBH, I didn't do this before. It was all in my head I guess but putting it on "paper" gives at least a sketch of a plan to start with, and clear levels to pay attention to. I'll take it from here and change it as levels become more clear or others get invalidated. We'll see if it's of any help, at least for me. If it's beneficial I'll continue, otherwise just move it to the side.. One thing's for sure. It can't hurt..
