i normally use different charts for my trading but i cannot access crude.i normally have directional movement set on 2 day and 4 day plus i have a custom setting, as for the adx line, i think it is defaulted but i do not actually use it even though it is useful.good trading

hi Billytt, i was looking as these momentum crosses recently and noticed the look good at 1h.

can you let me know what intervals you prefer to use them for and settings?
i have the standard 14 set!

this is a very easy way to trade, i have a 2 day and a 14 day setting plus a custom one which my friend set up.the 14 is best.You can easily adjust your trading plan and the time frame i like best is 15 mins,m i know this wont go down with many people but its good. Actually you want to check this out on daily time frame big pips can be made but tht isnt my way. take care

Just wondering because the ADX that comes default w/MT4 is not correctly written per J. Welles Wilder rule for ADX/DMI. Didn't know if you knew that.

i did hear something similar. the chart which is supplied by my broker tends to freeze my pc ( it just happened then)and it does have a default adx. i tend to use a different free charting service for the charts. you can get nothing better than to see what the bears/bulls are doing. It so simple.

It's ranging/consolidating now. I will look at Shorting from higher up (may be 1.234).

Figures. Nothing much ever happens when I'm gone. I guess the markets are so thin, that they don't move unless I throw a quarter in the slot every few minutes.
