DislikedHi Bob,
It happens to the best of us...
In the Attachment You will find the modified Version for your new settings...I already set the Levels to 0.3 and 0.6, and also the High/Low Levels to 0.3, -0.3. But you can set them also manually.Ignored
DislikedNT, I'm in love with v7.13--so much that I'd like to build a 10.2A EA. Will you be releasing the mq4 file at all?
If not, no worries. I think I could make use of some of Baluda's code.Ignored
DislikedFirst, NT, I must confess that I'm not much of a coder. I generally only modify indi's to make them compatible with iCustom, and then I move on to the EA. So I guess you could say I have a preference for ready made indi's.Ignored
DislikedSecond, I was about to cut and paste the code you suggested (thank you), but first I compared them both as-is on the same chart. I noticed two things: CSSDiff is less likely to whipsaw between the 0.3 -0.3 levels and zero; and CSSDiff seems a bit smoother when both indi's are in non-repaint mode.Ignored
DislikedI definitely noticed the longer load time of CSSDiff due to the 26 symbols it's using (in my case). If CPU resources become an issue, then I'll try my hand at coding a non-repainting TMA Slope.Ignored

Dislikedjust one question, maybe it has avoided my attention... what is the major difference between the new slope indicator and the one used earlier?Ignored
DislikedHi Bob and everyone ...
Been out of the game for a while now, but I'm back. Loved your old systems, and am looking forward to learning this one.
Thank you and keep up the good work.Ignored
Disliked10.0 is pages 1-35
10.1 goes from p. 35 to 92
10.2 starts p. 92 post 1367
You dont need to read pages 1-92 unless you want to see how the system developed. Most of it wont apply to 10.2 other than the basic structure. See you after p. 92
Nanningbob May 2, 2012
10.1 upgrade is found on P. 63 posts 937 to 941
10.0 Will attempt to define the markets in a way I have not seen before. We will attempt to define an uptrend (UT), downtrend (DT), and range periods (RT). 10.2 will add definitions for range trading with DT...Ignored
Dislikedhello !! naningbob ,
your 10.2 tma slope indicator is the finest work i ever came across . i had read all the papers in its package . i want to know , in extern parameters there is "other timeframe setting" (not accurately written here) , which requires input of 'time frame' and default is 0(current tf). i had not tested it , but does it calculates 'TMA Slope' of other tf on current tf with histogram on current tf ??
i am thinking to add sound alert when 0 level is crossed . is it possible ? OR it may repaint giving false signal ??
Thanks...Ignored
DislikedTo answer your question, I would say yes, that is how the indicator does the calculation, just as you described. Surely it would only take a few minutes to chabge the settings to test this yourself?
BUT, I would ask you, why would you change it? The very heart of NB uses the Daily Trend to define the trade direction / entry. If you are not going to base your trades on this, then you are developing something completely different; therefore you will have to do your own testing, reach your own conclusions, and not expect Bob to hand those...Ignored
