Yeah well my experience in marine engines is limited to the below 20 meter pleasure craft market... much below
The largest I owned was a 12 meter with two mercruiser 7.4 Liter with Bravo II outdrives. (375HP each). They almost bankrupt me every time I started the engines... and that was at Canadian fuel prices in 2005. Just imagine if I had to fill them up in Malta in 2012. LOL
at the moment, I have an 8 meter Scanner rib fitted with one of those engines and it drinks gas like a dipsomaniac - especially at 40 knots, which is why it spends most of its time at a sedate 25 knots....and being small, I can get nearer the action

Maybe it is controversial. All i want is that people understand that there really isn't a gap. Otherwise they have the wrong assumption. If they then trade it thats fine with me.
That's a controversial issue Swede. There are just as many who believe in it as there are who don't... as as long as it is seen as a valid trade by a large percentage, then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy when it is in confluence with other indicators... just like all other technical indicators.
Many don't believe in MAs, yet price always pauses at them.
Same applies to Fibo, MacD divergences, Daily pivots etc.
However, when you see a confluence of at least 3 indicators that suggest resistance or support combined with historical areas...

Hey pt it's been a while! Quick question for you remember that cci system you were working on a while back on the m5, well are you still working on that or is it thrown in the drawer and left to be undiscovered? The reason I ask is because I need an automated trader something good I'm way too busy with sports spread betting!
Well, that CCi project, like most other EA projects I've started in the last 2 years, is somewhere on my hard drive unfinished. The long and short of it is that in these market conditions, no robot has the ability to pick tops and bottoms consistently. Perhaps when all the political chaos is out of the way, we may be able to return to automated trading. Till then, I'm doing it manually. That way if I mess up, it's my fault for making the wrong trading decision as opposed to my fault for stupidly relying on a dumb program to do it for me.

Yes I agree with you however I hoped you had some high frequency based system on the m1 or m5 right now all I'm doing is ten pip trades across 3 pairings on the m1 fast and effective with tight stops. So that is why I asked
I hope you're still holding all those shorts from 1.34 etc we're edging nearer the magic 1.18 you always talked about!

Sports spread betting is great especially when you have good knowledge of English and Irish horse racing i use systems that allow to win no matter what the result I basically scalp price changes so therefore I view it as investing not gambling

Yep I'm still holding my 1.4647 and 1.3410 but I cleared all the others off the board and took partials on the remain ing two for a total of over 7600 pips.
Now I have some fresh small positions at 1.2314, 1.2236 and 1.2140
Let's see how they play out.
