people, the ita40 index today broke the low of 2008 (new all time low), the gold.. if it break the support nobody know where it will go, eurusd.. well you know the eurusd situation, something big may happen, maybe soon maybe later, it looks clear that the eur is facing problems that has been shown to be unable to get better (debt payed with new debts, such a big ponzi scheme that will not last forever), it's just a damn fraud that will collapse in the years to come, now the question is if before the end of the eur as a currency, eurusd will make some substantial loss (aka pointing to the 1.1xxx area for example) or not. For now it looks like such scenario is not to be excluded at all.
But what i want to point out, is that the market make new lows week after week, and we still havn't seen a clear long-squeeze, it's a boring slow downtrend, but every big squeeze follow boring slow trends, so take care.

I agree. This guy can really impress in terms of graphics (meaning the spread sheet) in his thread, but when it comes to trading, his calls are not impressive at all.

But at list he stopped posting in german here on the E/U thread.

I'm not picking on you in particular. Over the last few days I've see nothing but bottom pickers. Not to mention EU is in an over all down trend from M5 all the way up to Monthly charts. You can bet these are the guys that are going to get creamed and lose their accounts.

Sure you and these other trader are going to pick the price where the EU rebounds and reverses and goes into a long trend...not going to happen. I guess some people like the challenge of swimming upstream. I guess the possibility of drowning excites them.

Bottom/top picking is the absolute worst thing you can attempt to do trading forex. Why not just wait for the stronger direction/trend and get in on a retrace instead? ...much easer and will actually make a trader some money.

good point - support becomes resistance and vice versa - but i just love the action and believe it or not - still trading my very first account for about 5 years by now - not saying i got rich, but at least i didn't loose any chips

But people love to have a long position that is right at the bottom to show off to everyone... Well, after so many attempts though

That's a view. Others have different strategies/opinions.
Even you keep trying picking a bottom and get wrong, it doesnt matter as long as u keep a conservative money management. If so you can hold a position long enough for it to recover to where u wanted.
