I got catched on this surge on Friday, and kept the position over the weekend. stupid thing, and I shouldn't do it, it is my bad gambling side still exists a bit, but still keep working on it. anyway I am hoping it will get up on Monday as it had no fundamental reason to go that deep except the fact that in few countries speculators were massively shorting eur/usd

Now you are truly in gambling mode. Daily chart look pretty bearish. You have little reasons to backup that price will come back but HOPING that it will come back. Holding position over the weekend is another unnecessary risk since anything could happen.

It's gambling. If it offends, I'm sorry but it's reality.

its not an offend, it's truth :-)

The point is that I had 2 percent on plus on Friday, but I did the mistake that I was trading from work (again) on friday (always surprising day). If I were at home I would earn probably 10-15%.

Hope doesn't work with trading -- I have got to a stage where I have employed an account manager .This guy is not a trader , he doesn't even understand it but has all privileges to the account .His role is to make sure that I am sticking to the rules and that's all.If you had someone like that , your mind would just be on one thing - Trading the Charts - the rest , the manager will be taking care of issues.Remember thois is a business not gambling.

I am paying him a 5% percent per week.It is based on incremental wins .I am trying out this strategy after realizing that I honestly CANNOT control my anger .This person only deals with that side of things.

mate, I made myself files like this one many times (some of them were giving such a big return within 2 years that I could rule the earth lol), trust me, it is difficult to get rich that fast (but I still keep trying ;-)). and as on the beginning you will be well over your targets, somewhere around 3-5k you'll start making silly mistakes (you prooved it last time, I told you to stop for the day and you kept loosing cash), you'll become greedy, prone to mistakes ect.
anyway start on the beginnig from small account, do it like me, 25Quid, if you loose it i won't hurt that bad, and you still hawe whole life to get rich

BTW try to read about CHOROS on this forum, one guy on this system made about 500k in 2 years and started living of his investments, really awesome

That's why I have employed someone to manage , especially the amount of pips I LOSE in a week .That part needs a manager who is not a trader and who really values money .We will see how it goes

This is a real test--
I have beeen seeing opportunities which were not my main signal and ignoring them and they have been making the pips.My main signal comes after waiting for 3 days and it's a LOSER ..My manager is doing the job of keeping me on the leash

I failed big style. proved myself that having mental stop loss is bad, I was a fool, especially that I read Van Tharp, I knew how to do proper position sizing, proper entries and exits, and I still believed that I will succeed with my silly plan. From now on I will try to read more, learn more, I will start studying Choros system, and will stick to Demo for a year. from now on 1% is max risk on one trade, 3% if the market is really moving up or down like crazy

and looking at tafadzwa02 I can see myself. you're still doing silly mistakes, no stop loss (20% of loss in a single trade is a lot), hoping you'll get rich fast, start playing euro millions mate. guess what , my best profit was 3,5k in 2 weeks. where are the money now? no idea, but I don't have them, nor never spent a penny of them.
you probably need same kick between pockets as I had. you don't believe books, you believe you're above it. guess what - I had it the same, today I understood that I WON'T CHEAT MARKET!
I will still trade forex, but I need to change my attitude. hopefully someday I will succeed.
thinking of self employment from home plus full time employment till my business will work anyway (plus forex while at home )
