No, not "Global System for Mobile communications", but rather "Government Sachs Mechanism"

Just a picture that really caught my attention. It is from Tony Plummers book: Forecasting Financial Markets.
I am still at the beginning stage with those cycles, since thats quite a bunch of history one has to learn in order to understand them. I will be glad if you join me in my journey.

I was on Forexlive.com today and found this info under "Orders" but don't understand how to read it. Can anyone enlighten me? I know a few other traders who don't get it either so hopfully this will hep them as well. Thanks and good luck this week all!!
"EUR/USD: Offers 1.2280/00 (semi-official, Dutch names, ACB), (1.2300 also large opt expiry). More offers 1.2315/25, suggested buy stops above ahead of stronger offers up at 1.2340/50, buy stops above and through 1.2365. Bids 1.2200/10, sell stops below ahead of bids 1.2150/60 (1.2150 barrier)"
who's offers? offers for short or long positions? bids in positions and is it selling or buying positions?
