Since weekend has started, I thought I would post a video of my daughter's speed painting of an original character that she did yesterday and posted on youtube. I hope you enjoy. I think it's neat!

I have a target 1.2480/1.2510 as 55ema on daily and historic price magnet.

1.2625-30 is 88.6% retrace from last high 1.2691. this may be lofty in short term, but market will decide.

IMO, when the idiot politicians start debating debt ceiling this fall/winter, we may see a reprieve for Euro, as dumb politicians always screw the pooch!

that was really neat video.how old is she? God bless u.i am posting this monthly chart with price standing on 50% retracement.from here if the price retrace to only 38% it will be aiming for 1.3045-80.and dont forget we haven't close the Gap in that area yet.i will be holding this position for 6 to 8 months if price goes my way.may be i am a bit premature but i like to cover a band of 100 to 150 pips to build my position.risk is about 7 to 10% of my equity.

Since I'm now ranting about Euro crosses... take a look at my chart of EUR/GBP. If you remember, I was adding more shorts in that bear flag I still have drown (around 4th of July time). Well, I'm flat now as we've reached the bottom support of the daily down trend channel.

From a technical perspective, one might argue that we're due for a decent pullback. If so, that basically means that

  1. Euro would depreciate at a pace slower than the Sterling
  2. Eruo would appreciate at a pace faster than Sterling


Since we're still in a downtrend, if I were to argue for EUR/GBP pulling back significantly, I'd have to go with point #1.

I have no problem with the Euro holding up better than Sterling... after all, we're near the 1.18 lows and the drop may start to decelerate. On the other hand, Sterling seems like it has more room to drop quickly.

My only qualm here is the fundies, and I bring this up because I'm not the best at fundies and hope someone else can provide some insight. Given current conditions, I have a hard time believing Sterling will drop harder/faster than Euro. What would it take to make this a reality?

if u are living in uk u will see that govt already putting lot austerity measures in place.and also cutting on so many things funding wise,i work in NHS,i can see the effect of this,ppl are struggling to find the jobs.that may be positive for sterling.
