No......you are quite wrong. There are many ways to use the stochastic. As I said, it is more than an overbrought/oversold indicator
The Stochastic oscillator is a great tool for all markets in my view, as is RSI. For trending markets, my stochastic signal to exit the trade or set a tight stop loss is upon cross of zero line. For shorts, for example, the Stochastic will remain oversold or under zero for most of the move. When it finally crosses above the zero (center) line, it usually indicates the end of the move. The opposite is true for longs.
Observation is the path to discovery.

Seeing as I wasn't an early bird and I can't lock my position to BE I'll exit til the meetings over. I don't see PA making any significant moves til then.

Up again with +10 Pips on each account taking advantage of some micromoves in both directions.
Not that bad considering we had only an ATR of 36 Pips so far.

Yes indeed....getting to grips with the stochastic is kind of like learning to swim....one day all the pieces fall into place and then you appreciate it's value

I just exited at +8. This PA doesn't seem to have the power to break the pivot at this stage

Yeah it was.....after that first red candle and red TVi and stoch up in the roof and pivot unable to break in 40 minutes of trying.....lol.....time to quit!!

We are still within the Asian Range trapped within some triangles. Maybe NY will show up with a real trend.

Are you using the M5 timeframe with two instances of the matrix?

ie one set to 5min and one set to 15 min?
