It could have been more.. If I didn't over slept on monday.. I woke up only to see a retracement, didn't get to do anything with it.. That was extra 80 pips that slipped by.

so what was your percentage of profit for this week alone? I find quite impressive that you made profit out of this pair with all the uncertainty. what strategy told you to buy or short the Euro/?

I have 2 systems.. both are for.. Intraday trading. They are setup on the 1H charts. I look at fundamental data and calculate the risk of it..

All those nice tools put away.. I use simple support and resistance.. Market Sentiment. I get information.. for real money buyers.. I.E institutions who move this markets..

Combine everything together.. and depending on the situation.. I either use very tight S/L or.. I let it free roam until it hits a certain support or resistance.. and breaks it at that point, I know cut the position, don't even think about it.

Short term ranges are my specialty. I always, draw the range from where and where, and then adjust it accordingly.. If the market extended the range.. or the range shifted or it broke out and now trending.. Ranges are very important, you can make really good money in range trading..

Like for example.. the other day.. I wrote down the Euro from 1.2300.. took a nice profit.. and then rode it back up.. took profit again.. then exited then reopened position..

So I've been riding closing and opening positions. Right now, I have a position with the Euro for a break above 1.2325, because Like I've said the market is consolidating.. I'll post a chart.. and show you whats going on..

In case your finance service cannot guarantee not to have such useless things like slippage ... stop your engagement with them immediately ...

That is not acceptable ... never it is ... even not in super high volatile markets ...

Slippage is clear hint of fraudster finance service with very bad connections and poor reliability only ...

I use my indicators as.. a confirmation. The one.. I've posted it's pretty good, because its not lagging.. and it gives you a good situational awareness.. The other system.. is a tad bit laggy, but its a stronger reinforce. So when both of them indicating the same thing.. I know.. I've got a good signal. Most of the time.. I'd take a position BEFORE they indicate and then wait for them to confirm.. if its heading in that general direction.

Price Action is my main thing.. and its all about support and resistance. You know when 1.2325 is broken.. its going to run up.. its a given.. but, take Euro/Usd for example.. I've been watching this currency for over 10 years.. I know how it moves, how it operates. Every now and then it throws a curve ball, but most of the time it sticks to its thing.. I can tell just by looking at it.. retracement.. further up further down.. etc.. But, no matter how sure, I am.. Always got to protect yourself.. if it go's against me.. just cut it.. Not worth hanging on to it.. it took me a long time to learn that lesson.

I don't really keep track.. I trade multiple accounts.. and I don't keep money in my brokers. I don't trust them.. I just do constant withdrawals, and keep enough money for me to trade with.
