I combined the Genesis Matrix system with Mostafa Belkhayate's center of gravity and the results are great, up 200 pips this week! Thank you for a good system!

I agree......that's why it takes time to understand the stoch and to learn its value. Like anything, you get out what you put in.....no one said trading was easy! So people prefer to delete the stoch and they will never learn of it's value.....what can I do?......

Alrighty, the audience have saved the stoch, i will re-instate its position and disapear for a couple of hours and do some research:nerd:

LOL.....if you have something you find that you'd rather trade with, I have no problem with that at all. It's just that once you get to know the stoch, it is a great tool, but I admit, it's not an easy one to get to know

Quick message for the trader who is using M15 and M30 Genesis Matrix indicator for entries..... [apologies, I forget your name!]

Anyway, RealJumper or one of the other guys will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that you'll find the indi repaints when looking at the higher timeframe from a lower timeframe.

EG. On M5, you need 3 x M5 candles to close before you can consider the M15 indicator to have stopped repainting. This obviously extends to 6 candles for the M30 indicator.

So, some of these entries look excellent with hindsight, but you may find you get a lot more [potentially failed] entries in real time than your historical charts would show you........

I am in this current little long since Frankie open....or just after the open fact, but I don't really like to enter long just under the daily pivot, so I have my SL at break even (BE) already.

Yes, you're right Rob.....the M15 stoch on the M5 chart will repaint until the 15 minute period is closed. However, it still gives a pretty good idea of what the M15 stoch is up to.....for instance, it's not going to repaint to a complete opposite in a few minutes!!!

If the M5 stoch (and everything else) is signalling a trade on the M5 chart, and M15 stoch is in a similar position, then the trade is worth taking. If the M15 stoch is completely opposite to the M5 stoch, then perhaps waiting for a better opportunity will be in order.

same here, eu and ej long, but sl at BE+5 was hit on both...my entry was probably a little higher than yours since i wait for retrace and break

RJ is too long and agree that we are too close to the daily pivot.
Meanwhile I am in BE and we avedere, up close up, and wait for the prssimo setup.

Are you waiting for the candle to close in either timeframe? It shouldn't repaint after candle close.

Yep....my EU trade is still alive, and it's a free trade so I'll let it go and see what happens. Either it breaks the DP and takes off or it hit's my SL for +1!

i have taken quick 20 pips on this little long. I'm expecting a further move down towards daily support. If daily support holds i will look for another long...

Hi mate. I was referring to the Genesis Matrix indi. Not the MTF stoch.....

to have an apples to apples, entries and exits should solely be compared on the same TF. predominantly, we are intraday traders, hence we focus on smaller TF's/SL's/TP's, versus intraday support and resistance prices, enabling profit.

Hi! I was referring to looking at the M15 Genesis Matrix indi on the M5 chart. It has the potential to repaint until the current M15 candle has closed.
