Not gonna lie, I'm not the best with FA and this just goes to show it... poor US data but Euro can't rally. I can't complain, cause I'm quite short, but I'd like to understand it.

I took partial profit after the bad news and still wondering why it's not rallying? Isn't there any way to return the partial profit to the trade?

It all depends on where ''BIG BOYS'' with their huge pending REAL MONEY SELL orders are put.
If I was a BIG BOY I'd place my 50.000 lot SELL order maybe @ 1.2280-1.2300 and wait for the market to come to me...
I definitely wouldn't SELL at the market price

Euro is messed up so it's bearish against all others.
USD is bearish on QE3 hopes/fears.
This create a coppy e/u pair. One minute it tugs one way. The next minute it tugs the other way.
From a technical and PA perspective, price has yet to confirm a break of rising channel support.

Okay joking aside, it is probably the same reason why the AUD is still strong. Right now capital if flocking out of all the weak EZ countries into Germany, the UK and France as they seek safety as opposed to yield... and those still seeking yield are going for the safe ones, like the Aussie.
