I looked through the decompiled code, and the ATR period is 7 days.

Deciphering the rest of the code could provide hours of "fun", some rainy day...

Here my trade today (red vertical line entry in M5 TF) :

Set up :
PA is coming down from above DP and because today Fed Chairman speaks I decided to wait .
· H1 Stoch overbought
· M15 matrix 3 out of 4 white + stoch potential crossover above 30
· Long bar above MA5 (yellow) + arrow
· time : Middle NY session
additional notes : PA bounce from daily pivot (dotted line)

Entry :
· M5 PA above as per RJ input
· M5 matrix 4 white
· Stoch crossover from 30
· Arrow is ON
Exit :
Moved SL to BE after 20 pips : free risk trade.
Trade let open overnight because price moved +40 pips and higher TF give me good feeling

Hiya Wiz,

The best advice I can offer is 'google!' There is plenty of information online and it will just be a matter of searching I think. My favourite book, which is in my profile, goes into some depth regarding the stoch but perhaps not as deep as you are looking for. Spend some time with google when you have a rainy day and see what you can find.

No, I don't leave trades open overnight.....or at least it is very rare that I do that. I like to close all trades before I sleep. On the odd occasion that I leave one running, the SL must be in a decent profit and I will set a TP at the next nearest s/r line.

Hi Cody,
Are you able to code the No. of bars thet we can chose. So when there is no market open we can back test manualy all pairs we whant, for as far back we whant. This would be god enough.

It was a real surprise to come here the other day and see this new thread. Had to check it out immediately as I had been intrigued by your posts in the early days of Symphony. Tried hard then to read between the lines and understand your methods better, but got distracted and moved on.
Your contribution is much appreciated along with the efforts of lhDT, Olivia, Yelena, Cody, Xaphod and of course Evaluator and all the Symphony team.
Have not been too keen on HA as it obscures candles on the chart, but it seems to be an integral part of several threads now, so will still use them. However, will be keeping the candles on my chart, while using an indicator that plots an adjacent HA arrow to depict direction.
Will be following closely to get some trades happening.

You don't have to use HA candles.....if you are more comfortable with traditional Japanese candles, that will work too. I just like HA candles because they tend to smooth out some of the noise and I can compare the red and white of the candles to the red and white of the matrix....but we are all different and you need to use what works best for you

To traders,
Hi RealJumper and all traders. After carefully evaluating/trading your trading system only in the past few days since the inception of this thread, my finding is that this system is profitable using MTF technique (15min, 5min and 1min) scalping 10 to 13 pips at a time during London time to early New York time at the EUR/USD market only. With 2 lots I get my 20 pips per trade (I only trade 2-3 times per day). Once my goal of total 40-60 pips is accomplished I stop and done for the day. This system is profitable if you are not greedy. Thank you for creating this system.
