Have you noticed that yesterday's huge drop after BB wasn't really a continuation of the existing downtrend (BEARS), but it rather was a sort of bargain shopping for BULLS?
I mean a large amount of BUY orders with strike price around 1.2200 flooded the market and this is what made the market to fall, not a massive SELL orders.
This is why it returned so quickly and didn't continue to fall.

No, it means I have no patience to follow 1D and 1W charts.
I tried this while trading options.
I was succesful but... my goodness, I couldn't wait so long "tampering" in my open positions nearly every day.
Note when trading options you should keep your hands away from the market most of the time, adjusting them only once or twice a week.
I prefer grabbing 20-50 pips and closing it, looking for new entry next day.

And puff. Where shall we stop? How about Islanders 50% + DP combo? Ah, we stopped just right there.

Took +50 pips on long from 1.2233 yesterday and re-entered today at 1.2232 long. BE+4

US Dollar vs Canadian Dollar

After Bernanke disappointed markets yesterday the initial reaction was a risk off move that completely reversed itself over the course of the day. We have since seen a move back towards risk off albeit not as deep as yesterday’s initial reaction. Conclusion: Market’s are clinging to hope & don’t want to throw in the towel. The last vestige of hope the market has is a decent U.S. earnings season but that too shall end soon and then ALL of the good news will be out of the way. USD/CAD drifted down to 1.0115 overnight but has bounced back into its recent range as well. Governor Carney did not change the BoC’s tone in yesterday’s press release but he did shy away from previous growth assumptions. Today’s MPR should not surprise the market but lower estimates for GDP & inflation should reflect the Bank’s cautionary tale. The 1.0100 to 1.0125 area is still holding in well with a move above 1.0180 needed to alleviate recent downward USD momentum.

We expect a range today of 1.0085 to 1.0185

Canadian Dollar vs Euro

The Euro resumes its down ward trend against the Loonie after this week’s short lived rally. The pair returned all of its recent gains this week to trade a cent lowers from this week’s high. German Chancellor Merkel’s comment on having some doubts that the European project will work also adds pressure on the euro.

We expect a range today of 1.2360 to 1.2470

Canadian Dollar vs British Pound, Australian Dollar and New Zealand Dollar

The GBP/CAD trades lower after BoE‘s dovish minutes which revealed a vote to increase UK’s QE as well as the possibility of a rate cut. The pair’s upside continues to be capped at the weekly high at the 1.5885 level with downside support today coming in at 1.5780. The AUD/CAD is holding onto yesterday’s gain with the pair’s advance stalling before the monthly high at the 1.0465 area. The Kiwi trades lower against the Loonie today with the pair opening at the monthly low in North American open this morning.

I have already said I believe we are going to break .22 this week. Imo very possibly today. I think this is last correction up. But since we are in a choppy zone, I dont know how high can it go. For me todays max is 23280, so it completes flag and then breaks down. But as I said. Last correction. We may not make it up there and stop on one of the levels below. Like here for example, or 2287.

Btw, while referring to "break of ,22", I am referring to Daily timeframe. Best we´v got is ,22091 so far.
