the whole move down from 1.044 still looks like a retracement to me, so 1.005 area might offer a good buy opportunity if it gets there

This is how I see it. First chart we got clear buying as stops are taken out. The red one is a double or triple stop-run and should be the absolute bottom.
In the second chart we have the daily and I shaded all the buying going on at stop-runs and just about every chance the buyers had to add size (liquidity provided).
What this means is prices should at minimum make it to the high at 1.0660 and I suspect it will go ahead and take out 1.0850 as well. It might go much higher, but I'll be happy with that.

Well most analysts agree that the BOC will keep their interest rates at the same value. So that might not have any impact on USD/CAD. But if the interest rates will be different from forecast 1% we will se strong movement. I will set my clicker on 0.25%. So I will start buying USD/CAD if the value will be 0.75% or lower and selling if the actual value will be 1.25% or higher. Fingers crossed!

Now USD/CAD come to b/e...after one-n-half day retrace...That's a good sign...

on weekly chart it bounced at 50% fib. of previous weekly candle...Nice i will add some legs..if it goes down...

overnight rates are constant...nice usd/cad will go down...lets hear what Brenanke what's to say...

Right now i am having a leg which is surviving.I will have one more leg if price close below the open of the daily candle.

At present price tested the open price of yesterday on daily and it couldn't go any further so it is retracing back...

Today's news will be in favor of CAD.so,i think CAD will go further down.

Hi there, here we got a perfect set-up for bulls. As you can see, it is a very high possibility trade. Target 38.2 fib, which should stand as a resistance.

Jeez, looks like I had that 100% wrong.

Well, in any case, with the lack of any follow through to this point I am still a bull. I'll give this another shot here with a stop at about 100 pips. That should be enough. It's hard to see a great point to put a stop, but if I'm right then this pair shouldn't go much lower.
