nope you wrong, sl is not to protect your trade, it is to protect your account, no sl is suicide bro, in the long run no sl will kill you when you least expect it.

Market and/or brokers do not hunt your retail trade, is a 5 $trillion per day industry, retail means nothing in the bigger picture, tight sl under 1hr tf will get clipped purely with noise.

99.99% 0f stops are clipped because, they are incorrect placed, to tight, or noise.

Dont get me wrong most brokers are bastards and will clip your stop under the guise of noise, but you have to plan your trade better, be very precise with entry, and sl protection, you "might" survive.

Always have bro, started years ago, group of us split the cost at forex peace army and shared the feed on skype, but got sprung so found another way, cant put on public forum, but it worked ok, I havnt been connected for awhile now, this system kept crashing, tomorrow will look into it again, world will be my oyster

i perfectly understand what you mean. those brokers know where the sl are (we usually place them about 20 pip above or below the recent high or low). if your sl is 50 some spikes still hit it, placing it lets say in 100 pips distance does not make sense. better just watch the PA and then act accordingly, either exit or stay. i think this is more logical. but this all depends on the style of the trading, who prefer what.
