Hi Felow traders.
Glad to see a clean threat based on the system that saved my trading account! been around synphonie since the early days, and followed you all thru that threat and i´m really glad to see the most profitable traders opening qa brand new threat and loved the name of it... Genesis.... the beginning off a brand new trading life. i will follow closely and post some live setups if i have the time. for the last couple months i´ve been only trading gold, so with RJ permition i would like to post some gold setups and try the new indicators!!!

Thanks again Yelena. Good to know. I have acc with Alpari and Oanda today. Oanda is ok but some times i miss a little bit more leverage. They have "only" 1:50. And you can not trade news at Oanda because of the spread at newstime. Alpari have more leverage but they to have other "problems" so i am looking for another broker (bank )

Anyway this not a thread about brokers so back to trading

Hey RJ, Olivia,

Thank God you guys started this thread. It must be fate. I had given up trading symphony a few months back as I was getting torn to shreds so I had stopped trading for a minute and just tried to find my way. Well I started back today and did 4% which I thought was really good for my first day back. Anyways I'm just aiming for 5% a week ala Eval's spreadsheet and just gradually build my account. I'll try and share as many charts as I possibly can and hopefully add something to this thread.

If it works as symphonie..... is going to be great... but not advised for newbies.... can be a wild horse.... sometimes... but i love the volatility!!!!

I did some back testing on gold, and it worked fine. No reason it shouldn't with the other commodities and indices.

Sorry missed your post earlier, I don't trade Usd/Cad because of the low ATR most of the time, but I wouldn't have taken that trade, 1. The stoch came from too high and if you draw the vertical line as RJ does, at the time of the actual signal (the bar before the one you've drawn it on, the stoch was pointing down. 2. I have the weekly pivot at 1.0172 so would have been too close for my liking.

I did say this in another thread but it might be worth repeating (not just at you of course). If you get in the habit before you take a trade, of looking properly at the chart as if you were taking a screenprint of it, could you really show that on the thread and expect everyone to say that was a good trade taken, if you could then take it, if you couldn't then don't. Just that thought helped me a lot. There will be losing trades of course, but as long as it looked good when you took it there is nothing more you can do.

No permission is needed Tim......if it can be traded with Genesis, it's all good.....unless it's your mother-in-law!!

For someone like me, which miss some entrys or not right sure about the entrys, i take this with m1.

example in the morning, short in eu GMT 8.20
I was unsure.
So i switch to m1 and was taking 2 entry.
It works all over the day, and it is really stress-free

Maybe it works for other-one also .

Its based on another indicator, which I can't remember its name at the moment lol. Yelena knows the one it is so I'm sure RJ or Yelena will answer you as soon as they come on the thread.
