I see now.. It seems your broker feed just went out (wonder about the timing).. If you were short without a SL, then I don't think you have much to go on.. Did you call the trading desk right away and asked them to close your position? Probably not.. So I wouldn't bother..

These things can happen. I had one on june 6th (Wednesday)..

I did not have stop loss in place. Around 60 $ loss. If they don't compensate, I will close with them and make complaint in Forex peace army.

Next time, whoever broker you trade with, always open at least two accounts. If you want to let a big position run, enter a counter trade in the other account 1/10th in size of the original trade. Counter trade will have sl where your tp is for orginal trade, and vice versa. You will always have a proof, if something inconsistent happens.

Read the small print passages in your contracts and try to understand them ...

Then you will see you have no chances ...

Moreover any halfway sufficient finance service will be able to react on phone calls and orders can be easily placed that way within less than 60 seconds ...

In case your finance service cannot provide such kind of security and emergency measures then it is your mistake that you chose such a service ...

And then there are always limit orders ... and stop orders ... they still do exist ... and even when servers were down they should be able to react via various dedicated lines ...

Avoid any finance services that cannot provide such things ...

Avoid any finance services that doesn't have enough personell and phone lines in order to avoid such things ...

Interesting daily close (at least from my broker) Yesterday open 22439, today close 22436..

Can you say doji? --> indecision.. There's also a weekly spinner in the making off 2204.. mentioned long long time ago.. Not that I was right, because it wondered around hundreds of pips.. Just saying...
