i think BOJ will wait FED to do first the Q3 (some kind of). so down... first 77....and a big stop, and then touch 74...... and thats the end of our shorting

Maybe it goes up. Maybe it goes down.

Whilst the USD/JPY is often jokingly referred to as USD/USD, there is, amazingly, a component in the pairing that is not USD. Actions/events in Japan might sometimes have a slight effect on their own currency.

I dont think so, BOJ had showed several times, that levels around 75.50 - 76.20 is their .. in last 6 months there was more than 4 interventions .. i guess, that levels 75.50 - 74.80 are very very good support levels with high probability of interventions ..

I think that big players showed, that they hold the market in short, its clear, so my trading strategy is wait for some long moves up and sell for 30 - 50 pips profit and repeat again and again, if we will be around levels 76 i will start with buying with target to 79.50.

I love this pair..I have been trading this since late 2009..Its my safety trade.. I only buy..I love when I get on the spikes..But I also wonder why the small stops as the other guy posted..Would love to hear why..

We'll see.......keep in mind this is sunday/monday morning pre-market, these moves are baseless. I'd trust a new lower high on monday during london/ny

I know, and tokyo's closed and it's running into a number.It's a light load, a tester. We'll see how she goes.

Personally he's probably happy.....he can afford more overseas products on his government salary

economically the country is already F'd.....they have no growth, wide nuclear contamination. They must go to the robots that they will need built to deliver them.

first leg which was opened in the morning has been moved to b/e.

Second leg opened @ 78.70 s/l @ 79.07

i hope 79.25 resistance hold at night, i stop shorting below 79.25, im tempted to add some shorts on eur/jpy down way to 95...

UJ breaks above descending TL at 78.9. Falls slightly short of 78.6 (C=A) . Maybe wave 2 is complete and wave 3 to the upside is underway.

........... Or it'll range some more


Note : "A" being the wave 80.6~79.1 , "C" being the wave 80.1~78.68

In a nutshell, bullish argument is still valid

Just opened up a short today trying to get a good price on a retracement of our overall down trend. Only looking for 30 pips here, will reverse long if it goes against me easy.
