Hi All,
Been reading this thread and I'd like to thank PT for creating this awesome thread and others who are participating in it. It makes this thread so educative.
Permission to join this thread PT...
As for the EurUsd, I've just opened a buy position and trying not to be greedy targetting at fib ret 78.6 - 1.2310 area - as I pulled yesterday's Fib I'm with you CGB.... (But hoping it will go up to 1.2320 area - yesterday's HH area) .
I seldom post in forums, so please do tell me if I break any rules.
Looking forward to learn alot...
As PT pointed out, I'd like to see it move above the 55 EMA on the hourly to feel better about this trade.

Let's hope it works out. Daily Pivot is at 1.2273. It did a first thrust above it and then re-tested it. Seems to be holding but remember the bias overall on E/U is down. So this is a counter trend trade, always risky.
As PT pointed out, I'd like to see it move above the 55 EMA on the hourly to feel better about this trade.

If you look at the Tdi on the hourly, recently every cross signal to the upside, PA is not moving in accordance to TDi move. This tells me consolidation and we will be dropping further once we get a signal in direction of the daily. The 4hr and daily is showing a potential bounce trade to the downside. Just my OP.

Looking at the TDI indicator I'm getting mixed signals. On the hourly it has just hooked to the down side from the deviation line however, the hook occured barely above the 50 level indicating more potential upside and the median line is still well below 50.
On the 4 hour chart, I see that both the trigger (red) line and movement line (green) have crossed above the median line. These three line are near the 32 oversold area indicating a potential turn to the upside.
The daily still has some negative movement possible (signal hitting deviation) but the median line is clearly showing an uptrend.
And so, the war begins
Technicals are great but it's fundamentals and sentiment that rule the Forex market!

If you look at the median line on the hourly and 4 Hr, it is pointed down, invalidating the move north IMO. On the daily, both green and red are under it and coming together for a bounce trade to the downside. IMO Median line on daily is not a good barometer and rarely used on higher then a 4 hr TF if that. Although I could be wrong.

Gotta to love technicals. If we both had no positions in E/U would we be saying something differently? Hmmm... Technicals are opened to one's interpretation and more often than not, current position in the market. You have far more experience with the TDI indicator than I do and therefore, I'll heed to your knowledge with it (once we hit 1.2320
No two traders will look at the charts the same way.

Ah - I see that I was preaching to the converted- but aiming for those here who are less experienced.....
