At first I thought u r a gentleman, seemingly you are not, and dont involve PT, I didnt disrespect any of you. I beleive that loosing too much at this market affected your brain. Take a break and leave this market

I don't think his question to PT was rude Doc. Looking at technicals is one thing and anybody who has a little experience in trading can pick up the technicals of Forex. I sense his question was deeper than that and by 'strategy' I'm assuming me means the underlying conviction for his bearish stance.

Of course I may be sticking my foot in my mouth here and we'd best let PT answer his question when he returns from another evening of fine sushi

I made a very big mistake, I jumped in long @ 1.26 and killed it @ 1.24 after reading this thread. If I didn't, it would've pulled me down 400 ~ 500 pips by now. I was too greedy because of the nice swap for buying E/U and more balls than brain . I got away with it this time but I won't push my luck. I might run out of it

This thread to share everything.
PT's strategy is simple yet COMPLEX. following is what I learned so far

1) Do FA (fundamentals Analysis) to evaluate in which direction a pair is heading. PT is euro BEAR till fundamentals prove otherwise.
2) Watch PA closely daily and short at every opportunity, build your position rather than throwing everything at first opportunity.
3) BE PATIENT, green pips will come your way.
4) Cash out when a move is exhausted OR you are in decent profit

on 29th last month,me and Cgb took a short position in asian session and when that spike came ohh gosh the reaction of Cgb is....he was sort of feeling dizzy and me my bum was wet with sweat...

You are a mind reader, this exactly what I ment, I've been trading for more than 8 years and doing verygood. Mostly I use fundemental and PA for any entry. I never used MACD or MA, I beleive its a lag indicators, this doesn't mean its useless, I'm sure it helps a lot.
Basicly I needed to add technicall analysis to my fundemental and would like to know what is the most reliable moving average and time frame to be used.
Any assistance is more than welcome

I don't know. Fundamentals are not my strong suit but still learning and reading up as much as I can. Perhaps if Spain, Italy and Greece all found 100bln Euro in each of their country's crooked politicians Swiss account and returned the funds to the soverign and then all of a sudden all their people decided to work instead of sucking on the government's tits, then perhaps the Euro has a chance of gaining it's strength back.

What kinda worries me is that the US is not that far behind with their trillion dollar debt. They can't repay that in the next 50 years. So now what do we do when both the Euro AND the US$ start to collapse?

I wasn't kidding a few days ago when I asked if people here were buying physical gold, not the stocks or EFTs, but taking physical delivery of it...

PPL here buying gold and silver, most of them beleive the future money trading would be by them

ADD: Doc, did you mean the Euro short or the Canadian long? I closed the U/C long in the red but the E/U short after recovering, I closed that in the green

Yeah I know how you feel,taking wrong trades an holding on to them.
I end up hoovering every dollar that I can, to build the account to cover the bulls up.
Repeating bad habits or falling into hedge situation to soon.
Go back to trading small,less risk an stress.
Tops an bottoms off these waves catch me out.
Just means waiting longer for them to hit targets,

Its not an easy nut to crack,making shit loads off money from the comfort of your home.
We just need to learn the skills to make this happen.
