I try to do 4% and not over trade..everyone on here should have a trading income cal. Its hard at times to stick to it, but I try to do my best.

my friend, probabilities are with the trend, I know very well the countertrend psycology of most traders. Countertrending is the most difficult trading strategy..
this said i trade both trends and counter (but only at the right moment) and that moment on eurusd starts from 1.2207

every since I had to trade first in first out. Its made me more cautious on my trades.I don't have the margin like alot of people on here. so I stick to just making my daily pip% then get out.I don't make as much money doing it but I'm always in a + not -..back in 09 I used to only get in on USDJPY spikes and made alot of money..but then lost it by falling asleep with open trades with the EURUSD

yes is a problem with this type of thread, some very good scalpers can get in get out pretty much whatever the pa is doing, some scalpers only scalp with trend, some against, but one very good rule is always trade with the trend, dont want get into a discussion about trend, because can be very subjective depending time frame, etc

but for daily we near bottom of 2nd 2800 pip "bounce" so trend is ubjective here, if you look at the huge bounces as a range, we near bottom of range, so yes we been in a bear train since april 2011, seller should have done well, but normal range trading, buying the lows is better rr, and if you get even crazier, the daily is showing an enormous H&S Inverted with now forming the right shoulder,

But until PA shows a clear reversal pattern daily, I will keep clipping a few pips, until we get closer to 2131, around there I will be definitely sidelines, with even the possability of trying bull yuuuuuk, but gota do what pa tells you.

But for today I have been clipping nice pips of aussie and kiwi and waiting for brit pairs to give opportinity, plenty politician blabbermouths tonight usa open see what bs they is spit out and market reaction, brit prs they is presently pointing down, boj could stuff that though,

i see, i think the problem is that this thread should not be about scalping , but about more serious trading, at least 4h charts. Otherwise it's unuseful...
