yes you are, and you must learn a lot mate, this chart is showing you direction of price and possible outcome - even if you trade for 30 pips a day it's good to know what is a current mid term trend - in your case you should be trading H4 and D1 for some time - if you cannot be profitable on higher TF's you will never be on a smaller TF's - been there, done that like they say

sorry, INTRADAY, thats a misprint, i corrected already
anyway, i dont feel confident with weekly, daily,.. etc. yes, i use 3 timframes (5,30,4h or daily) for analysis, but my "timing" chart is 5,15

Well, not sure what you mean by 'valid' especially considering your lower trend channel line has been pierced pretty convincingly.

The most important channel was the up trend channel that we broke and retested then on 6/29. When everyone was calling for higher prices then, I was selling (heavily). I'm still holding a core chunk of that position.

For now, the only channel I'm concerning myself with is the big one on the daily charts (see below). We're currently trading pretty much in the middle of that and threatening the most recent lows. Breaking those leaves the bottom of the channel wide open as a target.

LOOK OUT BELOW!!!
