There is so much factors that come in play with regards to global trade and each currencies role in global trade that it will only give contradictory responses.

If you want to bet on US figures do it on the USD/JPY or Gold.
u mean if theres good news for the US = bad for gold?

Yeah. Good news for US is bad for gold and the JPY. It is actually good for the USD but you will usually find contradictory arguments with regards to risk currency pairs.

We don't know. Study, start analysing price action, draw trendlines, know fundamentals, and you can tell us. Never follow someone else's call, maybe just their analysis, if it is sound.
