Expectation from many analyst is of a 25-50 basis pt rate cut. Consensus says rate stays the same. So in other words, they really don't know sh#t. Although I think that 25 basis point cut is already somewhat priced in. PT wrote something about it a few days ago. You may want to check that out. Volume may be light since Americans love taking those long ass holiday weekends.

hi everyone, i hope all is fine. i am just passing through and just checking you are all making pips.Today is quite slow obviously due to 5th july but be aware for sudden spikes. i celebrate most /all festivities whether christian/jewish/asian/oriental ANYTHING lol, its good to party.and today its uncle sam. my student has gone back to spain a very happy person and now i set triggers then go out. take care.

Hey all - I've been a stalker here for a while and finally got around to signing up.

Thankyou to everyone who contributes to this thread. Feel like I've learnt a lot.

Anyhow - Tomorrows potential rate cut.

EUR/USD - Even though I'm a massive bear, I'm cautious short because of wave pattern. I'm feeling we'll get a retrace up to 61.8 - 1.29xx area.

I do like EURNZD south....

Sitting on dat support line - Nicely correlated with the risk on/off. Trend momentum like a train.

Anyone agree?

Ps. Happy 4th July from England to our American bros!

I for one am short E/U and out of U/C for the moment .
E/U trade is a max leverage 10 pip scalp at 1.2521 entry.

What are you basing this on? All timeframes since Monti's woody speach are now indicating a downward move. Descending Triangle broke support at 1.2560, daily bear flag had it retrace and failed to move back into the flag portion. Bottom of daily channel is around 1.2250 where we will re-challenge the June 1st low.

Even the top of the downward daily channel is far below your target 1.30 as it sits at about 1.29 (assuming it shoots up to there tomorrow).

Can you post a chart explaining why you think this is possible.
