I bet EURUSD will go higher today and tomorrow morning as nobody wants to be short euros before the ECB. Also, NFP is on Friday.

mate i strongly disagree! but hey thats nice i guess we will continue this conversation tom. btw rates are NOT priced in the market at all.... the squeese we are having since monday is due to tom decision. fridays boom was clearly only due the new the lending procedures that EU Summit voted for.... therefore friday nothing to do with interest rates... i firmly believe rates will be 0.75% leading the Euro to climp to 1.27....

this can be a long economical argument, but first 1.27 is a price what you could imagine if EU cut rates?

According to FF Calendar, a cut is expected in the interest rates of ECB. So, the market was pricing this? It is hard to believe considering the movement of EURUSD in the last month. I personally would expect more bearish movement. Anyway, what do you guys think? What is going to happen if there is a cut?

Today is good day for positioning for the rest of the week.

US markets being closed, best timing for the move is late of this hour [GMT + 1 (4hr) = CEST (4hr)]

and

GMT 4hr at 13 BST (in 3 hours).

But may be just better to exercise some "other activities" than probably waste time in front of the screen :nerd:

ok heres my verdict.. by cutting interest rates this leads to less savings and also less foreign deposits right? this has a slightly bearish sentiment... HOWEVER by having less savings this increases the demand for investment since this money will be allocated to new investments hence increasing demand of euro at the same time!!! this shows draghi wants to move the market.....and wants the euro in the 1.27 - 1.29 range

This one ... which is based on "rollover closing" ...

Which contains some fresh calculations of Elliott and ZigZag probability bands at current situation after "rollover open" too ...

And from time to time there is an written anticipation and interpretation of those levels mentioned there ...
