I'm not planning to re-evaluate my position until 1.25/1.2480ish area. Maybe even a bit lower.

I just don't see any basis for being long. Even with Friday's hoopla, we've failed to take the highs that were established on 6/15. In my opinion, bulls have more reason to be cautious than bears.

It's Volstruis... BTW - 1 egg holds the same volume as 24 chicken eggs. So - would not be having too many..

I know, I eat them myself, I also was riding on top of a volstruis in Outshoorn long time ago.

H1? Lol, in some circumstances you could keep a position open for more than one day with certain indicators on H1.

After a while, I noticed it's not just the indicator or the parameters that are a factor. I find medium-slow moves can be handled with 15 minute candlesticks, faster moves with 5 minute candlesticks, even faster moves with 1 minute candlesticks. Finally, with really fast moves, I would only use my eyeballs as an indicator.

Well, I don't know if you want to call your eyeballs indicators but whatever... haha

Not necessarily a pipedream TT - rather perfect scenario we are at tricky level imo, and 2926 would have to be trigger by some serious news - no idea what it would have to be maybe long term declaration from Draghi about rates - FED style 2014 etc.
I am not a fundie so it is a hard for me to think about it.
We have 2745 and 2820 first.
As you can see I've been a patient bear, my first short sell from 2670 was SL'ed today so I reloaded and I must agree with Geppy - will be holding as well, lets wait and see how session end.

If the ECB cut rates that would be bearish for the EUR, just like the Fed cutting rates is bearish for the USD and bullish for everything else. (this assumes there aren't other things in play- which there are- mostly in Europe where lower rates help the insolvent banks)

you misread my post mate I meant longterm declaration like Ben did it -rates will stay at current level for next 2 years and we are not planning to do anything - I was just giving example like I said I am a chartist.

Almost any indicator has useful information. What matters is that you stick to a few of them and know them really well.

i just want to point that today european stock markets raised around %1.50 and euro should rise too.But it didnt happen this time even it has fallen down. I am curious if European stock markets fall down (probably on Thursday) what will happen with euro.

Sort of hanging around this area,looks like it wants to rocket up.
With all the talk off 130000 at some point.
The smelly bankers will want to take care off business an hoover up all the shorts again.
Crazy just putting in small trades either way,seems to be working for now.

I noticed something similar in the US markets. Risk was generally off and been down all day, but the dollar remained weak. Typically, that is not usually the case. I also noted the NZD and AUD were up all day while the market is down. Maybe there is a divergence in the whole Risk-on/off strategy.

EUR/USD: We are currently at the monthly pivot point, daily 20 SMA and August 2010 low. I dont think that much will happen today anymore. If EUR/USD is able to hold the current support these days (possible bull flag on daily) then we could have some follow through of Fridays strong candle. If market is falling below the support level then more downside is likely (possible bear flag on the hourly/4 hour chart, consolidation at support (respecting) before resuming the down trend). The hourly low of 1.2553 might be the first downside target whereby the 20 SMA on the 4-hour chart could provide some support/ No trade recommendation.

After reading countless posts and analysis of today's regarding EURUSD the conclusion is quite clear:
- almost all proffesionals and highranked FF users (5+ vouchers) quite strongly expect red candles in following days,
- virtually all newbies go for long side of EURUSD.

It is hard to imagine pros would be eliminated by newbies...
