But it looks to me like a double bottom is forming on the 5 min chart at 1.2617, the high of 3:05 PM Friday, June 28...before the buying really got overdone in the pits in Chicago right before the cash close.

Ha. Yes... That's not ALL inflation, that's real growth. GDP is up a staggering amount from back then too... if there wasn't more dollars than there would just be a lot more credit in the system...making it susceptible to liquidity crunches.

there are a lot of stop loss under 2610 and 2600. If we go below we can end up 1.2570s quickly. But well also buy orders around 1.2560s too. Its not a prophecy to say 1.2540-1.2615 will be range for a while if this happens.For me its necessary. But lets see first, as long as we are over 2600 we are still bullish.

So yes obviously in 41 years you should expect inflation... even if its only growing 2.5% y/y that will still make a massive impact, which can be calculated ... (1x1.025^41) ... making a par value of 100 today, or a basket of goods at 100 today, into 275.219043 after 41 years of 2.5% inflation.

If GDP grows at 2.5%............ THEN WE ALLLLLLL STRAIGHT

However, none of this is the result of Stimulus. Most of the inflation since 1971 happened because of the price of oil, especially during the oil shock of the 1970's. Since 1982 inflation has moderated.

that credit needs to be backed by something. This time is not China either whos the next sucker? Ppl learn in thr art of war it always ends in physical battle. Thats should spell inflation if not hyper. Deflation is a risk if ppl stop looking for jobs cause they are happy with what they got. Media is there to correct that. Greed is name of game and productivity brings gdp so deflation is a pebble compared to inflation mountain. Gold is our saviour but timing needs
to be right. We are at the biggest consolodation in recent history meaning biggest spike still coming. Manipulators will try their hardest but the good will overcome evil always.

Real growth doesn't translate into price inflation. If the money supply only increased proportional to the increase in the supply of goods/people there would be no increase in prices. All the money printing was just to prop-up malinvesting banks at the expense of everybody else, fight wars and give to unproductive people.

If inflation was still calculated like in the 80s it would appear around 9%: http://www.shadowstats.com/alternate...flation-charts

You may enjoy having to keep up with such inflation for the sake of propping up JP Morgan, killing brown people and paying for the voters of the democratic party. For me when I make my fortune in forex I'll prefer to preserve my wealth and that will exclude investing in your green paper fresh of some printing press. I'll be buying real things thank you, preferably well out of rich of the US IRS.

looks like I need another 4 month break from FF.

you may have noticed that the number of viewers and contributions has dramatically reduced in the last 3 weeks.

and the contributions have become less than rubbish on the most part with just random calling out of long short or it is doomed or otherwise just not even about trading....

it is after all an interactive trading forum for the E$ and normally I put my analysis up in the morning and get some feedback. All last week and again today nothing.....

what does all that tell me, none of you lot are trading real accounts, most of you can't trade and just talk a load of bull*t, this thread is doomed as serious contributors are all leaving it.....

I believe this is the first thing you said that I can agree with. Indeed: there is no reason to assume the US gov. will ever default on its debts when it can instead go the way of the Wiemar Republic, Zimbabwe, revolutionary america, revolutionary France, the Roman Empire and every other state with no respect for the purchasing power of its slaves... err- citizens.
