I also had a small short, looking to close within the hour regardless. Today has been interesting to say the least. Stochs and MACD on 133 tick (my short-term) and 1H look to cross. I would have assumed with the market remaining to pumped up it would have moved on, but it has stalled out last couple hrs.

I have set my TP at 1.27145 below fibo extension levels on my chart.

Ive just closed mine. Just seen gold drifting up again. Dont think im gonna be able to scalp anymore out of it this time of the day. Still gonna hold on 2 me big loss and see what happens. Im hoping and praying for a drop down. But who knows. Its anyones guess at the minute

Ok, be careful. You don't want to get caught in another uptrend sunday/monday. Remember this weekend give us two days to study charts and analyze news.

I got caught in the squeeze this morning, thought about it. Coked the loss and gained 22% of my loss back.

Tell me about it. Thanks. Im looking at 1.2725 top from 4 hour chart and 1.2800 from daily as tops. But just hoping she will falter in the other direction for the time being

Closed one of my order from 1 2687 at 30 pips . The rest be stop. If your 2-5% is within a 200 pip buffer. U are safe. Scalper must choose good hours and know the different taking hours and know where all stops of buy or sell are. Most scalper get killed due to high leverage scalp on few pip quick gain but when market turn spike or drop like a knife scalper easily get killed or margin call due to no stop loss. Scalper must avoid heavy fundamental period. I scalp too only on days of no major impact stuff and knowing the market is in consolidated range. You also need to draw support resistance line. In case market break out from your point against u.

Thanks for that. If the market is ranging then yes its easy pickings. Made quiet a bit yesterday on it. And ur right it is usually the major impact stuff that does end up hitting me hard. But i have learnt in the past on the main headlines not to worry about being in the trade. You either make a quick killing or get killed but hang on in there because it will soon drop or rise back on2 the course it was originally on

Took small long position @ 1.26500, stop 1.26430.

Looks kinda like another bull flag imo, similar looking complete with the dip in the middle.

Im in Italy and here we don't see very clear details about the way Monti is trying to take to solve the problems !
Lookslike that bank need more money to create a fund which will buy Sovereign bonds to balance prices and yealds . Where to take this money from ? Taxes , BCE and more debits ..... NO GOOD !!!

Couldn't help myself, had to take a look. Merkel will have hell to pay when she gets home, she may have bent but the German public no. There might be a whiplash, careful..small lots with wide SL's if you absolutely have to.

I expect that we touch 1,2730.
Profit taking in the last 4 hours with same volume as the upmove but with only testing 1,2650 says to me that there are still more buyers in market.
