Imagine if this news came during London session instead of Asian session.

Holy fuck would that be HUGE.

-20pips from my short but hell could have been worst. Offset by my gains in Aussie though.

This news and spike wasn't part of the game plan. Got freaking lucky on the AUD trade.

Eur seems quite strong , i woke up at 10 am, eur rock after that. i suddenly change my TP point , used to set at 1.2480. and add one more long ticket. great .

Bull confirmed mid-term battle.
Bear lost some strength from weekly chart. London may reverse some pips after another bounce but it's limited. EU open may take the chance from london retrancement.
Overall, it's not a good sign for bear in this week.

What could be HUGE is the reversal, when, like previous other "good" news, they find out it not so good........

You are wrong about the HUGE bit....
My friend what you need to understand is that Asian session is a pretty dead sesison with most bankers sleeping in bed.... that tells us tha ttheres low liquidity in the market.... on a low liquidity market, a trade can move markets far more than in a High liquidity market....
best example is this...

if market flatlined with 1 million usd in play and suddenly someone puts up a billion long... the thing will shoot up BIGGER than if the market was flatlining with 100 millino usd in play and suddenly someone puts up a billion long... get it??

In the past 3 months everytime the EURO runs up like this, it always comes back down to where it was before the gap.

Yeah I do realize that it takes smaller capital to move prices on a market with lower liquidity.

Absurd, really. It looks like the pop is at its peak for now. I would assume a pop this great in such a short period is hard to maintain with no real answers. If it was a slow or moderate grind up would think it was an actual trend. Then again, is 300 pips in a day possible? lol.
