Keep an eye out for Core personal consumption expenditures out of U.S today. This is helicopter Ben Bernanke's favorite fundamental tool to gauge whether to do QE. If it stays above 2%, QE bugs can kiss QE goodbye.

Not quite as high as I expected (6.25) but they didn't get a full take up so the effect is pretty much the same.

Welcome. Please keep in mind this is not a trading signal service. It just happens so that a few friendly bears have joined in internet community. Nothing special. If some of us will have a reason to go long, sentiment on thread can change. Most of traders have many sources of informations, this thread is just one of them and each and every source is a bit biased.

They didnt do a sh!t. I mean, they did completely nothing. Well, they announced something like 6 pillars of stability, which were something like : Boosting confidence, boosting fiscal governance, etc. Those were only empty words and none of this was ratified. If you want me to expand, I may try to find those pillars so you can see the cr@p for yourself.

Market was all in mode: "buy the rumour, sell the news" and bought this empty statement which resulted in brutal short squeeze from 1,38 to 1,425 - 450 pips, only to crash two days after once it was clear none of the "pillars of stability" will work.

thx for the summary, a surprise short squeeze wouldn't surprise me at all, those hopium addicts can get high off anything

I do understand what you mean but I am not anti-euro. I was happy when the Euro tanked because I was short the market, just like I have been since May 2011. Before that I was long and very happy every time we got a rally.

When the Euro Zone finally comes up with a viable plan to save itself from collapse (which I believe it will eventually), then I will be more than happy to go long and will be extremely happy with every rally

Now... How about that positive outlook from you. I want to know what it is and I am sure others here would like that also.

Wonder if you came to that conclusion after reading the last couple pages or did you actually read the whole thread? If you had read the thread you would see there are both bears and bulls in here. Your comment is not a fair assessment of the current situation in Europe. If you have a bias for being bullish, I'm sure we would all love to hear it.

Oh I understand you! - I have been in a similiar situation recently, and from this perspective, I should be glad, yes... but my unhappiness is resulting from some earlier realized losses that I intended to make up for...so I guess I should be more patient and new opportunities will come along at the right moment for all of us....
