my understanding is if economy is export oriented then it help to have a weeker currency, it is hard to understand how germany want to have a strong euro and at the same time bolster its manufacturing exporting economy .yeah i can understand politically these leaders may say they want a strong currency to satisy the savers and pensioner but again its just posturing becos govt are for the rich,by the rich and to the rich.

Took a short at 2499 as per the plan

It went 8 pips beyond the 2515 but closed on the hour back in the range

Stop is 15 pips above the high... Monitoring the news and
2460 area now

While waiting EU Summit , missed the 1.2523 but manage to catch short @ 1.25042 on PA pullback and fail to break 55 EMA (M5).

...... ouch ... should wait a little bit longer.

That would be awesome, but I'm not going to get too comfy. It just so happened that the hopium destroyer (Germany) got to talk first today. The day is still young so I expect a bit of a whipsaw day.

The 2460 broke with some strong momentum... Short is a hold and we can see if it is retested. If this is a runaway with the eu summit I expect we see the 2288 break before the weekend...

Also my GU breakout trade at 5547 triggered... That position is building nicely from 5699 down I have 4 so far.. Average entry is 5627 still building towards the 5077 on this one...

Yeah, pity I'm really fussy and only take deep pullbacks (50 or 100%) so I'm not in at the moment not upset though, days like this throw my T/A out the window so sometimes best to sit on the hands.

Went to play the range and shorted at 1.2520 didnt expect to get such a return so quickly thank you market, cashed out 2/3 of position 1.2430 SL now at BE....

yeah TA is a bit nutty, i got lucky and placed a small short order in at 1.25165 but was feeling uneasy about the bullish move up at that point


placing a limit sell around 1.2455 (at the moment a retrace of 38.2% if it doesnt drop further, but definitely don't mind it just bricks down to fresh lows )
