Hi GurKrish,

That is a question on trade management.
Every trade is taken based on a particular setup condition. Once we are in a trade, we look for condition which will invalidate our trade. If the invalidation occur, we as traders must take action according to our trade management plan. Often that means we cut loss, sometims we cut loss early than before our intended initial SL when there is a trade invalidation signal.
One of the success in trading is to manage trades using the R - multiple. R being the initial risk or the SL. The position sizing is based on this R.
The success of a trader trading a particular system can be measure in terms of the average R of all his trades. The total number of pips do not matter to me.

Q: Whether I would take the reverse trade?
Yes if there is a reversal setup but then again I must have a trade plan for that.
For every trade, I have a plan A and a Plan B. This will help me get in and stay in the market.

Q: 'compensate for loss'?
every trade is unique in a sense, so I do not look for 'revenge' trade to make up for a loss. First, I must try and manage out of every a losing position before I accept that cut loss decision. Then, that's where plan B come into consideration.

Hope this explains.

Have a Good Trading day today, there will be breakouts. Look for price contraction using Inside Bar on H4 and D. I see a very good one today.

This EU LO trade taken yesterday. Now holding at BE position. See what turn out today. Have my Plan B ready when market makes it move today.
Today will be that chance of the month to close this month' trading business with a small bang*&**.... also half-year mark.

Market Comment:

This trading day is the day of the awaited "EU Economic Summit". Likely thru the week up to now, some PA has been nothing but posturing, meaning BBs getting rid of what they think will be losing positions and taking on what they think will be winning positions.

EU might be an example of this. If you look at M15 over recent days you will see high trading each time the price was driven down substantially. Yesterday, with the USD release, price moved down. Was it due to the content of the USD release, or was the move down just another manipulation of price by the BBs to get low prices to continue to build long positions? And, what of the current early asian session move of the price back up? Are these traders ignorant of yesterday's USD release content, supposedly the "reason" for the price diving? Or, are they "on-board" with the overall manipulation of price to lows this week (leading up to the summit) to build low priced long positions? The move up seems more in concert with the latter than the former, since time has run out for the asian session traders to take advantage of low prices before the "Summit" officially starts.

But, this is just speculation. So we await further PA to see just what the market has been up to this week.

i do think that EU and GU gonna up for this upcoming times. I do still take a look at long positions for both pair. However, i gotta secure the trade each day. It will go up sometimes but when it is? we do not know it but we have to figure it out. In the Daily chart for EU . we can see that it is reach bottom and did not break that SR(support Resistance) i think today it will go up. but still we need to op when the price is good. When the price is breaking 1.25xx then i start to look for a good setup for long.

GU: Entered long. Usually one could expect a FO/LO pullback. But with the EU Economic Summit I don't know, maybe not. So I decided to risk this entry before the LS.
