No, practicing scalping with small lots. Took the short at 80.268 and opened a short at 1.24916 on E/U. Looking for 20 points on each or when indy turns on me. So far they are looking good.

It's amazing how the market just makes up stuff to justify their preferred bias.
Before, they was all hopiumized on QE3 based on weaker US data. When Bernanke disappointed them, they reluctantly jumped off the wagon. Now that it seems that the ECB may cut rates next week or at the August meeting, that same QE3 club is speculating that if the ECB eases, then surely the Fed will too. What a bunch of numbskulls

More like USD is losing strength. You can see it in the Oil and Gold rally.
ADD: Not good for my U/CAD long, but I'm in it for the long haul so I'll let it be.

Give it time, NY session just starting. A close above 82.745 on the 15M chart and it should start to look better

USDCAD finding comfort between 100 and 200 hour MA. Searching for the break.

The USDCAD has had an up and down session so far today with the price in the middle of the narrow range (29 pips).
On the downside, support buyers have used the 50% and 200 hour MA (green line) at the 1.02373. The topside has been testing the 100 hour MA (blue line) currently at the 1.0265 level. The failure on the break below the aforementioned support toward the end of the NY day yesterday, helped/changed the bias slightly to the upside.....

1.2460 is a key fibo support level (61.8% of the move up from the lows of 1st June)
There is just over 2 hours left in the current H4 candle (Based on GMT TZ)
If this candle can manage a close below 1.2460, then we have a much better chance of seeing 1.2385 today (as long as 1.2440 doesn't behave like a spoiled brat).
