Hi, I am really interested in finding a broker that offers backtesting facilities, can you point me to anyone in particular? I know that ProRealTime offer backtesting, but they are not a broker - if you can point to a broker that offers this then that would be great!

Err... any MT4 broker?

Is there something specific you need for back testing from the broker?

You can do a backtest with any MT4 broker. But you should use 99% model quality, because the standard data's provided from MT4 brokers/Metaquotes only have a model quality of 90% and no tick data's.

Take a look at Birt's EA website, there are many information's about this. And also if you need a broker who will provide you with tick-data, try universal fx, they have a history center with tick data. https://www.universal-fx.com/ea-lab/history-center
