I would like to backtest my strategy at the 5 mins interval and I am using IBFX, however, here is the period I got...

GBPUSD has 5 mins data since Jan 2008
USDJPY, USDCAD, USDCHF has it since Sep 2008
EURUSD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD is since mid Sep 2008
for cross it's even worse as there is no data for EURJPY
except GBPJPY is from late Aug 2008...

Please advise, Thank you very much !!!

Open the Tools>History Center.

Select one pair.

Click on the Download button in the bottom left.

You'll get data from Metatrader going back to 1999 for 1 minute and longer for other timeframes.

Repeat for other pairs.

Ignored
you will get price data from metaquotes (not from your broker) and the price is not accurate for backtesting.

Years later and still the same problem. I dont know why brokers doesnt save their data. Just testing with Admiral Markets and its only offering m30 data form Januray!! and m5 only 4-5 months..... hillarious to say at least.
Greetings, BeLikewater
