You are making a basic logical mistake:
Going from the general to the specific.

General: long term success in forex is possible (for some)
specific: therefore Susie, my cute next door neighbor - will succeed as well.

In fact the chances are pretty much zero that Susie will succeed (long term).

This argument can't be that easy to win. come on, don't make it so easy for me.
Apparently in forex, the execution of a winning trade by trader (A) requires the execution of a losing trade by trader (B) at the other end. I don't know for sure if this is correct, but if it is, PLEASE, all you "impossible" believers, don't stop trading no matter how much you lose in forex

Ok, I'll try really really hard to make this my last post.
2 things:
1: the claim being made is that long term profitable forex trading is impossible.
Please direct me to the point in this thread where this argument morphed into targeting a single individual. (I've given you the names of 3 full time traders here in FF by the way, have you had the courage to state your "impossible case to them yet?"
2. If proving a negative is very difficult as you say, then why or how can you
claim the impossibility of long term trading as being a "fact", since facts require proof

Mate, there are so many holes in your argument and logic, that it is hard to keep up.

The day I make a claim that long term profitable trading in forex IS "in fact" possible, THEN the onus will be on me to prove it.
But until that day, the onus is on you, since you are the one making the claim.
Have you figured out what I'm saying yet? Because I'm quite sure most others reading this thread have.

The answer is no, probability is near zero.
The winners come out of the wash. It's a simple distribution of pretty much random events.
for instance, every joe and his cousin can open a 200 $ account at the friendly neighborhood bucket shop.
What do you think is gonna happen 99.999 % of the time?

Near zero isn't zero though, therefore there is a probability (albeit small) that long term success is possible.

In order to pull this off completely you really should stop the troll activity... it really doesn't suit you and you lose what little credibility you have.

My post was in no way directed at you...(like this one is) it was directed at those who for the lack of a better word think this game is impossible... and for some it might be... but to show that profitability is possible with forex and as to what that might look like.
