Anything above 1.2513 can result in a move upto 1.2617 with some resistance at 1.2548. Eight pips are not important but if they occur at a critical level, should not be ignored.

Today we are expecting some gains during european session, you can try to buy dips...
Also remember that end of month is coming and volatility will increase, so please trade with care.

Anyway I am shorting this pair because I believe we are still ranging and right now we are at the top of the range.

SL will be put to defend against a breakout of the range.

morning,

the medium picture.... still corrective of the drop from 1.328x to 1.228x with a possible wave A & B formed of a simple ABC correction pattern.

If price goes below 1.228x or over 1.328x then correction is over.

For today I will look to see a break of recent high 1.2525 to indicate that wave C upwards may have started. Initial target is 1.275x then 1.290x.

A break below the recent low around 1.247x to negate that wave C is in progress.

fully agreed those are not market gaps its brokers issues !!!!

Still in play from yesterday. But shorts not yet added as test was made in Asia. Waiting for Frankie/London to trigger a low risk entry. Being cautious though as I don't trust tests made in Asia.

Market will range the whole day. It will good for EURO that it will hold its position and after EURO summit it will start gaining. Greek election's positive result and German desperateness to uphold EURO might provide some positive news for EURO summit. EURUSD now almost at the bottom line, if it starts gaining it will be a decent amount, may be 1.35000.

Watch these three levels in the next five years and see what happens when pa touches these levels. There are many such levels on Euro/USD. They do not represent gaps, but gaps occur because of them.

regardless of what you make of gaps this comment is simply not correct.........

The interbank does close down at the weekends and therefore there is no market. but guess what suckers some of your retail brokers make a market for you... yes that is right they estimate the market prices over the weekend and allow you to trade on a massive spread with zero liquidity (why would you do that!) because it makes them rich with your money.

They do this at near zero risk by placing options/futures on a Friday to cover the likely net volume. As proximity to Sunday night comes they continuely adjust the price feed to what the expected opening price is.

Therefore you do get weekend gaps for real but not for real with some of those greedy brokers.....

It's a very positive sentiment, but I dont agree. I dont think that the EU summit will come out with the final solution. All I see is Germany stalling the one and only key : DEVALUING. They cant save the PIIGS with strong EUR
