this is usdcad daily chart with pitchfork.there is 80% probability that price reach median line say if it reach median line next 2 days then i am seeing my target price at 1.0407 and yes ur right price may reach 1.0190 but the odds of that happening is only 20% but i want to go with the bigger odds that is up.my trade is running i have moved my stop loss to break even this morning to 1.0189.please refer to chart below.

its effective on anything which moves.by the way one need lot more than this to trade effectively particularly disciipline.
indicator and other stuff are just like a dot on a white plain wall,it gives u a coordinate to work from and will tell u when ur wrong. which useful for a trader.

Doc. My pitchfork on the daily shows that we are already trading off the median line and heading to the upper fork around the 1.05 level. The median line was also near the 38.2% fib retrace of the April-June L/H where PA bounced.

Doc. I'm using the ABC pivot point on daily. A-1.0048(April 11th). B-.9800( April 27th) and C-1.0446(June 1st). I prefer not to post my live charts on net. Please understand. I'm not comfortable with it.

Haven't been entirely truthful about my methods and my single indicator.

Charts indicate where we have been, not where we are going although it could if no new fundamental factors.

Possible Factors:

Syria/Turkey

Iran Oil Boycott and US sanctions in effect now and a possible incident.

I am only saying look at all issues and try to not have a bias. Let the market lead you.

Finally make your own decisions and Listen to only yourself and your Trade Plan.

The gold market has just lost one of its most senior figures.
Jeremy Charles, the veteran head of precious metals at HSBC, retires on Friday after a career of nearly four decades at the heart of the bullion industry. In that time, he helped to revolutionize the market.

Under Mr Charles, HSBC's precious metals division has become one of the largest and most profitable franchises in the industry. With just 27 front office staff, competitors estimate that the bank's precious metals division makes annual revenues of $200m-$300m a year, rivalled only by ScotiaMocatta, UBS, and JPMorgan. Along with JPMorgan, HSBC trades more gold in the London market than any other bank, traders say.

Mr Charles, who started his career in 1975 as a 19-year-old "tea boy" at NM Rothschild and went on to become chairman of the London Bullion Market Association, has witnessed the transformation of the gold market from a backwater into one of the most profitable areas of many banks.
The industry in no small part has Mr Charles to thank for that.

Those who have been around for a while know that Jeremy Charles was the HSBC front man for the gold cartel, fought against CFTC position limits rule and even tried to argue against Bill Murphy at the CFTC hearing on gold and silver manipulation. Earlier Monday, Spain’s government formally requested aid of up to EUR100 billion for its banking sector from its euro zone partners. Spain’s economy minister said the amount should be enough to cover the needs of all banks and provide an additional security buffer.

Financial stocks extended earlier losses, led by Italian lender Unicredit, down 3.95%, while Spain’s BBVA and Banco Santander tumbled 2.58% and 2.11% respectively.

France’s Societe Generale and BNP Paribas were also sharply lower, with shares plunging 2.08% and 2.72%, while Germany’s two biggest lenders, Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank, plummeted 2.38% and 1.14%.

BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank were among the 15 global banks downgraded last Thursday by Moody’s ratings agency, due to their “significant exposure to the volatility and risk of outsized losses inherent to capital markets activities.”
